There is something very satisfying about working on chimneys. They are a very functional item that often become a focus point for the viewer. In other words, they have to be built with an eye towards beauty at the same time the fire and its draft burns in the bright comfortable way that is expected.

Chimneys are very exposed to the weather and also the corrosive years of smoke and creosote, and it is no wonder that many older chimneys often need repair.
